Mac Optimizer Pro is promoted as software for cleaning and optimizing Mac Operating Systems, however, due to the dubious techniques used to proliferate this app, it is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA). Dubious distribution methods may be used for legitimate products, however, they are more commonly employed to proliferate untrusted software. If any notifications about viruses or security software appear, quit Safari or any other browser that you are using. If a normal attempt at quitting the browser doesn't work, then Force Quit the browser.
